Here are some games that could keep you occupied over the Summer

Tyranitar24 | June 25, 2008 | News | PC Playstation 2
GameDaily describes a "Summer Fling" as a video game that will keep you occupied for a few days and after that, you won't want anything to do with it. GameDaily gives you nine games that might do just that. Games on the list include Battlefield: Bad Company and Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy.
There are two types of video games -- Keepers, games so good you'll keep them for decades, and Flings, games you'll play for a few solid days before trading them for store credit.

These nine games round out our list of the 2008's best summer flings -- if summer camp taught us anything, it's that these hot, sweaty months between spring and fall are the perfect time for more casual relationships.

I disagree with Bad Company and Mercenaries 2.

Bad Company has online and ranking up to keep your attention and mercenaries is just generally an open world game with online co-op.

I can see both of them lasting me more than a couple of days.

Guitar hero is a good choice and that football one, both should last more than a few days unless you play all day for those few days >__>

I wanna get it but I will probably wait until the price goes down as it's pretty short and doesn't have much replay value apparently.

Why are there game-adaptations of films on this list? I realize they don't expect it to be amazing, but come on, choose something else.

None of those seem very occupying for me. And I don't trade in my games after I'm done with them anyway. I just let them sit on my shelf forever. I still have my gameboy color games I'll never play again.
