IGN is freaking out about Fatal Frame IV !

Gothic Girl | June 10, 2008 | News | Wii
IGN recently revealed that Fatal Frame IV will be appearing at E3 which was great news for Fatal Frame fans. WE're all hoping for a trailer to finally be released.

It looks like IGN can't wait for the game to be released either, as they revealed in a recent podcast. Expect alot of FFIV news coming from the site soon. As IGN said, "Holy crap! (FFIV) will be awesome!"
IGN's latest podcast (which can be found here) has some new information/insight on the games. Nothing spoilerish as far as gameplay or plot goes, but some general information.

IGN Fatal Frame, obviously, is going to be the big one.
Oh my god yes!

Q: Can you guys promise a documentary of one of you guys playing Fatal Frame IV alone in the dark?
Oh yeah I can do that!
OH YES!
(more talking about Resident Evil, Alone in the Dark and playing claustrophobic like games.)
That'll be awesome then because Fatal Frame is one of those few games - like Resident Evil REmake - that are even remotely scary.
Holy crap it will be awesome!

Q: Do you think Grasshopper (manufacture) will bring anything new to Fatal Frame IV?
So, I'm not sure how much of it is Grasshopper right it's just Suda 51 right? He's directing, but the game is still being developed and done by Tecmo to the best of my knowledge.
Suda can definately help with the freakiness aspect, the totally out there weird freakiness. I mean, I don't know if you have played Fatal Frame before, but it doesn't need much help. It's really awesome and cool!

I love how IGN gets excited about all the underrated games. It's like they're trying to compensate for everybody else. They did the same thing with No More Heroes, but I suppose it didn't work out perfectly. Kudos to them for trying to generate awareness anyway.

Let's hope this time around they can build more hype for an underrated game. Fatal Frame certainly needs it.

They should just hire Gothic Girl to hype the game. You pretty much single handedly got me interested in it.

Haha I know, same here. This game's gone from being just a name to being on my must-buy list. I should probably check out the forum at some point.
