Are The Metal Gear Solid 4 Reviews Fake Or Real?

Various rumours have begun regarding the reviews of Metal Gear Solid 4 that have begun to surface, and the rumours are that they're fake. Taking the brung of this is Eurogamer.net and EDGE magazine, which have given MGS4 8/10. That's a rating that long time fans of the series have decided not to acknoledge due to it being so low, not believing it, to the lengths that some have even gone as far as stating

"Anyone claiming to have received an advance review copy of MGS4 is eihter lying or has stolen a copy from the shipments currently going out to retailers"

Continuing to state how they have spoken to Ryan Payton himself who has said that no Press site has gotten a copy of the game. However given that back in March 2008, 16 lucky game sites were invited to play MGS4 it seems highly unlikely that the reports of these reviews being fake are true, since it could easily be that these reviews are based on what they played back in March 2008...

The recent buzz online has been about thrashing anyone who has dared to give Metal Gear Solid 4 a review below 9.5 and EDGE and Eurogamer.net seem to be at the receiving end by daring to give the game a 8/10.

_{The question is: Was MGS4 completed back in March? Cause I doubt it was, which brings the the fact that the reviews aren't true. Since no one has gotten the 100% copy.}

  I believe the copy was near enough complete, enough to base a review on. Remember that they have to make three different versions of the game (US/EU/JP) as well as mass produce them. Things like this takes time.

I find it hard to believe that the MGS4 reviews are fake. Why would a bunch of sites bullshit their reviews? There are well over 16 sites who have reviewed the game. I doubt they are all lying.
