Twisted | May 30, 2008 | News | DS
Sid Meier has announced that Civilization Revolution has been delayed from June 13 2008 to July 8 2008. The game has you helping a society from very early on in the history of humankind to the space age.
In an announcement to proclaim the fact that Sid Meier, the inventor of the Civilization series, has entered the Guiness Book of World Records for winning more game awards than any other videogame creator, is the more important information for eager Nintendo DS owners - that Civilization Revolution has been delayed from June 13 to July 08.

Civilization feels like it is going to be one of the most ambitious Nintendo DS games in terms of scope, with players crafting and nurturing a society from the time of the dawn of man, all the way up to the space age. It won’t all be plain sailing, of course, with wars to wage, diplomatic decisions to undertake, and new technologies to uncover.

“Civilization Revolution is the game I’ve always wanted to make!” said Sid Meier, Director of Creative Development at Firaxis Games when the game was announced last June. “We are excited to take advantage of the power of next generation consoles and the ingenuity of handhelds, to create a great and unique strategy game for newcomers to the series, as well as the millions of fans around the world who enjoy Civilization on the PC.”

A couple of weeks wait won’t hurt… will it?
