Michael Rudder Reflects Upon Mumbai Escape

Dark Arcanine | December 04, 2008 | Interview | PC Playstation 2 Misc
After the news that Michael Rudder had been shot, CBC News now presents an interview with the brave survivor who shows no signs of real trauma as he even made a bit of humour.

The interview outlines what happened from his point of view during the attack and how he managed to escape with his life, in a taxi no less! At the end of the interview, he stated "I'll be home for Christmas".
"I found myself in a Bruce Willis Die Hard moment," he said, "where my arm — had a lovely white shirt on — and it just exploded into red. And, while I was taking that in, I got a bullet in my leg. So I quickly got myself on the floor to get a bullet in the butt as I was going down — and then another bullet, still another bullet grazed my head. So I just laid there in utter shock."

"My intention, once the bullets started flying, was to pretend, as I've learned from so many Second World War movies, that I was dead."

"To tell you the truth, I followed the bloodstains," he said.

That was an awesome read. I was actually wondering what had happened to this guy. He seems so cheerful for going through what he has been through, but I guess you can't help but be happy to be alive.

So sad what happened to his friends, and of course everyone else who was lost in that tragedy. Bah.

(yes i know that wasn't the only game where you play dead)

He certainly seems happy comsidering what he's been through. Good for him, I doubt I would be as positive as he is.

The guy's alive, what more do you need to relax now.

By this I mean for him, since he's alive and not in harms way he can joke about it.
