Capcom's Lifetime Sales

Capcom has released the sales numbers for all of their franchises from the NES to the Next Gen consoles. Compiling a list of a total sales between each franchise and another list of Individual sales, you'll probably be surprised (or not) to find out which franchise sold the most; and it wasn't Street Fighter.

Resident Evil 2 January 1998 PS 4,960,000
Street Fighter II Turbo July 1993 SNES 4,100,000
Resident Evil 3 Nemesis September 1999 PS 3,500,000
Resident Evil March 1996 PS 2,750,000

I wasn't surprised to see REsident Evil at the top. Though I was surprised that RE3 and RE2 were their highest selling RE games. (pleasantly surprised, mind you. They're my two favorite RE games).

Good to see Dino Crisis was somewhere in the middle. It's a shame that series didn't kick off. The first game was fantastic - Right up there with RE in terms of scares. It's a shame the sequels weren't so good.

Haha, before I clicked on the source I assume Resident Evil sold the most amount of games and I was right yay =D. I'm also surprised to see their best selling game was SF2 =o! ... I'm also surprised to see Megaman at No. 2, I thought those games sucked D=. *gets -5 rating automatically*
