So, it's the week after the holiday season. You know what that means? Sales completely drop all around. Nothing really survived the post-holiday massacre other than this week's top selling game, by a clear long shot.

This week's top-selling game is Wii Fit, selling 90k copies. The #2 this week is every child's favorite game, Mario Party DS, selling 43k copies. Rounding out the top five are Wii Sports (WII - 33k), Final Fantasy IV (NDS - 32k), and Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (PSP - 26k).

As for hardware, prepare for lots of red.

There's really not much to say about this week's sales, as it's after the holiday rush, so naturally sales will be down. The lack of high numbers push games of non-Nintendo systems into the top fifty, as we see a 360 game crack the top fifty at #22 (Call of Duty 4). Although, most surprising is that Mario Kart DS is quietly approaching the 3 million mark in Japan.
