From the outset, this past week's Media Create numbers indicate a strong sales week, but the numbers quickly drop, with a substantial decrease from #1 to #3. Also, seven out of the top ten are new releases.

Topping this week's list is Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift for the Nintendo DS, selling 142k copies of the game in its first week. Coming second is the sequel to a Gust RPG, Ar tonelico 2: Sekai ni Hibiku Shoujotachi no Metafalica for the PS2, coming in at 72k units. Rounding out the top 5 is Konami's Winning Eleven DS (NDS - 29k), Imabikisou (PS3 - 23k) from Sega, and finally, last week's #2, the DS Literature Collection (NDS - 21k) from Nintendo.

In regards to hardware numbers, the Nintendo DS gained 6k more units, and the Wii gained 2.5k, while both the PSP and the PS3 gained 1k each. Super Mario Galaxy released yesterday in Japan, and its impact will be seen in next week's numbers.

Notables:
The only three games to remain in the top 10 this week are the DS Literature Collection (NDS) at #5, the DS Nishimura Suspense Detective Series (NDS) at #9, and Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon: Time Expedition Party (NDS) at #10.
Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon: Shadow Expedition Party (NDS) falls to #12 after being #8 last week.
Gundam Battle Chronicle (PSP) falls to #15 after being #5 last week.
Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor (PS2) falls to #16 after being #3 last week.
Last week's #1, Seaman 2 (PS2) falls to #21.
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure (Wii) debuts at #29.
The Eye of Judgment (PS3) debuts at #39.
Lair (PS3) falls to #46 after being #21 last week.
Archaic Sealed Heat (NDS) falls to #50 after being #26 last week.
Beautiful Katamari (360) falls out of Top 50 after being #7 last week.
