Konami VS Capcom

ITANI | July 01, 2007 | Industry News | Company
Any hardcore gamer would know both of these companies and how much they've contributed to the games industry. Would you choose Capcom who kept us occupied at night while playing Resident Evil or would you choose Konami who allowed us to sneak through buildings and collect dog tags in Metal Gear Solid?

A video that showcases all the classic games from both companies and then allows the viewer to decide which company is more dominant in the games industry by vote.

I would vote for Konami, not just because of Metal Gear Solid, it's also because of PES

It seems like Konami's winning us over at the moment ^^

I'll vote for Konami as well, just because of Metal Gear Solid. Other than that I don't think I play any other games by these developers, to be honest XD ... //

Turns out almost all of my favourite games are made by those two companies. I like Konami more though. Not only because of Metal Gear Solid but also because of the Silent Hill games which are far more scary than Resident Evil. They are just SICK! And I love them.

A company that has a remake for every one of their games is definitely the best. Capcom for ever!

Ok i just saw that video and im sorry i played games for both and Capcom pwns Konami to smithereens. Now now don't get me wrong i love MGS and silent hill and castlevania as Seeker listed but llook at what was shown for capcom,
1 devil may cry was(and is IMO) the best action game i ever played.
    2. Street fighter, That is by far(IMO) the best fighting game ever made. I love tekken and a few others like Marvel VS Capcom and etc but come on Street fighter has been a legend in fighting genre in the days of nintendo on the SNES. That deserves my vote.
    3. Resident evil, thats the greatest game IMO, again all of these are my IMO. I love silent hill but i don't think Konami matches up to there level, at least not from the games that was shown in that video.

Ok now let me point out something, they didnt even show all of the games they made. I mean come on its all lop sided in that video and i clicked on all capcom.
That doesnt mean there better but at least make a 25+ video on all of they're greatest games ever made. Than we can see how it fairs and if they did, it would be a tie in my book

I selected Konami because Metal Gear Solid is in there and it's one of my favourite game series of all time. Although my favourite game from Capcom has to be straight up Street Fighter for the SNES. It was a tough choice.

Konami because it's got a much wider range of great games, MGS and PES being the big non-fighting two.

    Though CapCom is also amazing!
