The NPD Group has released their hardware and software numbers for the month of November, representing sales for the United States for the four week period of November 1st to November 29th.

Notables this month:

Wii and DS have whopping sales numbers, clearly outselling all other hardware
Gears of War 2 the top single SKU seller in November
Call of Duty: World at War the top combined SKU seller in November
Only version of Guitar Hero: World Tour to chart is Wii version

So, the 360 is effectively ruling the console wars at the moment? Well, that doesn't suprise me. The price of the 360 compared to PS3 is a gigantic leap. But like we've all said, Microsoft don't need the money nearly as much as Sony do. But GO Wii! Bout time that won the console wars

    Considering the typical rate in america for a 360 is around $300, An the typical rate for a PS3 is around $400 or so and around $430 - 450 with a game.
    
    How the HELL is that close?
    
    If that was me i'd rather save the $100 - 150
