Mario Kart Wii has finally been overtaken from the number 1 spot on Media Create's
software list. The new number 1 game is Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou!, which is made by Sega. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is still 2nd, but it is the only PSP title in the top 10, every other game is a Nintendo title on the software chart. On the hardware side, the PSP still has a nice lead. The PSP was able to outsell the Wii by over 15,000 units!
Nintendo's Mario Kart Wii was finally unseated from its top slot in Media Create's software chart list. After enjoying the spotlight for eight weeks, Sega's Pro Yakyuu Team o Tsukurou! on the DS was finally toppled the racing title giant as the premiere video game in Japan for the week of May 19 to May 25.
Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is still fully entrenched in its second place position. However, the PlayStation Portable title looks rather lonely amidst all the other Nintendo titles that were able to make it on the top 10 software list.
On the flip side, the PlayStation Portable is still enjoying a comfortable lead against its other hardware rivals. Weekly sales of Sony's handheld outsold Nintendo's Wii by over 15,000 units. The Wii and DS once again trailed behind the PSP, despite the latter having dropped in sales this week.

2,110,000 to 2,059,349
There's more Wii's in japan than PS3, it would be obvious that it would sell that much.
Still its nothing special.
Anyways, I must say that I can't fathom who comes up with these numbers. Wait, I actually can, but where else do these figures count besides to the coporations of Nintendo, Sony, etc.?
