Useful tips. I might get something to give the bottom of my Xbox room to breathe. Never though of using a toothpick to de-sticky my Y button either.

Wouldn't this have been more useful two years ago when the 360 actually came out?

Thanks, it was actually pretty enlightening. I currently keep my 360 vertical to save space, and it sits on top of an old text book I don't use anymore.

The biggest way to make sure you're Xbox360 doesn't break, is to make sure NOT to mod it. Modding it COULD give you the red ring of death, therefor screwing you completely.

My friend also found that putting your Xbox 360 and power brick on a slab of marble tends to keep it cooler. I haven't found any marble for me to try, but my friend hasn't had any overheating problems since he's tried it.
