It is believed this list of songs will only be available on the Euro store, with a different selection hitting the US one. This time there 19 English language songs to download, and a few more for other European countries. "Sony's SingStar may not be arriving on North American doorsteps 'til next month, but Europe sure seems like they're having a total blast with this karaoke title.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has released a press wire saying that for the Fiscal Year of 2007 (April 07 to March 08), SingStar has successfully sold five million units and one million download tracks, bringing its sales to 12 million since its first release in 2004 on the PS2."

"While Harmonix and MTV Games have been giving Europeans the runaround with the critically lionized Rock Band, Sony has been pulling a similar stunt on North American gamers with its karaoke rhythm game SingStar for the PlayStation 3. As MTV Games finally set Rock Band's Euro release on the Xbox 360 for May 23, so too has Sony established a date for SingStar PS3, saying today the game will be available in the US on May 20."
