Monster Hunter: Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto Interview
"I really want to expand the market base for Monster Hunter. There are still lots of people out there who would be interested in playing Monster Hunter, so I want to convey as much about the game as possible.
For myself, I'd like to be able to establish a communication network. As I've said before, I want to be aware of what's going on in the game industry, and because there are always great changes afoot, I want to always be attuned to them."

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Expansion shipped over 1 million in Japan
"No doubt still harboring a grudge about that time Godzilla remorselessly flattened the beautiful city of Tokyo, the people of Japan have made it abundantly clear that they rather enjoy hunting monsters. Capcom has announced that the PSP's Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G -- the G highlighting the fact that it's an expansion to the pictured, G-less mega hit -- has shipped one million copies in the land of the rising hunt.

Japan's Top 20 Best Selling Games: PSP Takes Spot #1
"Every one knows that the Nintendo DS has been dominating the sales charts in Japan ever since the release of the DS Lite. Strong hardware sales, however, don't necessarily translate into dominant software sales. Case in point, in Japan the #1 selling game of 2007 is not for the NDS but a PSP exclusive."

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Gamplay Montage
"
We guess we don't have to reiterate how huge Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is in Japan. And we are pretty sure that it's about to become bigger when it finally hits retail stores in North America, Europe, and the rest of PAL territories this September. But even though that's five months away from now, you've got to start practicing those monster hunting moves.
Here's a video of the game we found over at GameTrailers. It is actually a gameplay montage clip for Monster Hunter Freedom 2. ..."
