Top 10 game babes you should (and those you shouldn't) bring home to mom

tallteen86 | June 25, 2008 | Pictures | Playstation 2 Playstation 3  | views: 4139
"Take her to mom: Aerith (Final Fantasy series)

Aerith is a sensitive girl that can warm any heart. Just ask any of the Final Fantasy fanboys who fell for her charms over the past few years. She's also deep-rooted when it comes to family and faith, as her role as an "ancient" clearly explains. Moreover, she can probably whip up a good salad, since she's so involved with nature.

Don't take her to mom: Morrigan (Darkstalkers series)

Not only is Morrigan almost completely underdressed ..."

Nintendo shoots down Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii rumor

Tyranitar24 | April 28, 2008 | News | Wii  | views: 1832
"Nintendo has denied internet reports that the Metroid Prime Trilogy in its entirety is coming to Wii.

According to GoNintendo, a tipster claimed that the computer system of a retailer had a new Wii game listed as 'Metroid Prime Trilogy'.

Internet speculation jumped to the obvious conclusion that Metroid Prime 1, 2 and 3 were being repackaged as one and the GameCube games were being revamped for the console.

But speaking to CVG, Nintendo labelled the rumour as "Purely rumour and spe..."

Metroid Prime Trilogy on the Wii!

InnerDemon | April 27, 2008 | Rumor | Wii  | views: 2027
"You guys know how I am with our GoNintendo Mole. I don’t hear from him too often, but when the mole gets in touch, I listen. This news is 100% rumor for now, but that doesn’t make it any less juicy.

Word has it that a certain retailer had a SKU pop up in their computer systems for a Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii. What could this title be? Well, I would expect it to be Prime 1, 3, and 3 all on the Wii…but Prime 1 and 2 with all-new Wiimote controls. I love Metroid, but I really don’t know if..."

InnerDemon | April 23, 2008 | News | Wii  | views: 1708
"April 23, 2008 - Retro Studios is beloved for producing three excellent Metroid Prime games. A rumor was sparked on the Internet earlier today that three key members of the Retro staff have left the company. IGN has confirmed this to be true: lead designer Mark Pacini, engineer Jack Mathews, and art director Todd Keller are no longer with Retro.

The reasons for their departure aren't clear, but Retro Studios will continue working on Wii software. The developer is not shutting down. It is p..."

Hype isn't everything: Metroid outsells BioShock

TwilightPrince | September 07, 2007 | News | Wii  | views: 3489
"Nintendo's flagship shooter Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has debuted in the States with a bang, taking the top sales spot in the all-format chart and even outselling 2K's awesome Bioshock in its first week.

Metroid managed to shift over 400,000 copies in total, which must be big news for developers ogling at Nintendo's console and proves that traditional "hardcore" games can still sell on the home of Wii Sports and Cooking Mama.

With Wii releases thin on the ground, Metroid's unlikely to..."

Hidden Message In Metroid Prime 3...

Krunal | September 03, 2007 | Video | Wii  | views: 2777
""Hello, this is Iwata from Nintendo. You may not know from an outsiders point of view, but being a director is really hard! When things are really busy and stressful we (us directors) may look tired and sick, then people may feel sorry for us! But in my case, it's the opposite, I get fatter and fatter, so then people don't think I'm stressed at all!""

Review Round-up: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

mistermostyn | August 27, 2007 | News | Wii  | views: 2251
"In the formidable wake of BioShock and its outstanding critical reception, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption – regardless of the series reputation that has gone before it – really needs to be something special considering that the first-person shooter genre has so recently been utterly redefined and re-imagined.

However, if you had to pick an FPS franchise that could follow the wonders of BioShock and even stand a realistic chance of eclipsing it, well… Metroid Prime would certainly be on the s..."

IGN Review: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

TwilightPrince | August 27, 2007 | Reviews | Wii  | views: 2571
"Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was originally set to launch with Wii, but the year-long delay has been very much worth the wait. Call it a first- person shooter or a first-person adventure -- doesn't matter. I call it the best game on Nintendo's console. It is clear from the moment you pick up the controller that Prime 3 was developed exclusively for Wii. Not only do the new controls respond quicker and with more precision than any dual-analog-helmed FPS ever created, but the gesture system work..."

The cream of this week's crop arrives in the form of a certain armour-clad heroine courtesy of Nintendo. Yep, sweet Samus makes her first appearance on the Nintendo Wii for the final game in the long-running Metroid series.

'Metroid' and 'Super Metroid' to come onto Virtual Console

"In an effort to get you excited for the late August release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Nintendo today announced that they'll be releasing the original NES Metroid onto the Wii Virtual Console on August 13 for 500 Wii Points.

The fun doesn't stop there. On August 20, Nintendo will release the SNES Super Metroid for 800 Wii Points. Boy, if I was to get into either of those games again, I might miss out on the launch of Metroid Prime 3.

I better stay away from them. They've already ta..."

"While Corruption got a brief (but impressive) run-out at the recent E3 Media & Business Summit in Santa Monica, the final action-packed episode in the ongoing adventures of Samus Aran has received fairly modest hype coverage in the countdown to its release.

And that’s kind of unusual considering the series’ stellar reputation and the placement of the newly innovative Corruption on the hot-selling Nintendo Wii platform… especially as the game will hit retail on August 27.
