UGO Games Blog goes hands-on with Defense Grid: The Awakening
"The game uses a simple green/amber/red color system to determine a tower’s--and enemy’s--level of power. Green units are the weakest, while red are the strongest. But those colors also correspond to the number of Power Cores that an alien can steal from the facility. Some of the stronger units that manage to trudge in and get away with three cores may make it near the exit with them before you take them down."
