Hudson Entertainment has announced that its sports compilation game, Deca Sports for the Nintendo Wii, has shipped 1 million units worldwide. The publisher has previously reported in early August that the game had shipped 700,000 units worldwide, meaning that 300,000 units had been shipped to North America, Europe, and Japan in the last two months.

Deca Sports features 10 different sports in a minigame compilation for the Wii. Deca Sports originally released in Japan on March 19th.

"Brand Manager at Hudson USA Mike Pepe confirmed that other formats such as the Nintendo DS are being explored for the continuation of Deca Sports (Sports Island in Europe, which launches here on 5th June via publisher Konami). Pepe stated, "We are exploring ports to other platforms. The DS being one of them. The controls and mechanics need to make sense though as the gameplay within centres around both of these."
