I know it's possible. Hell, I've watched and rewatched the YouTube videos of the 14-year-olds who've done it in Sid Meier's new game, Civilization Revolution. The guttural roar of the ICBM taking off, the flare of the missile as it arcs slowly across the sky, the terrifying rumble in your Xbox 360 controller as the nuke pulverizes the target: It's awesome. I can't sleep until I've rained that sort of death on the world.

The NPD Group has released their hardware and software numbers for the month of July, representing sales for the United States for the four week period of July 6th to August 2nd

This month, there were three notables:

• 360's price drop has no effect
• Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bump is gone; game has fell out of top ten
• Five new releases in the top five, in the form of three separate games

Those that have been hoping to get the game on the previous 3rd June 2007 should brace themselves - the game has been delayed till 8th July 2008 a whole four weeks... however this release date only effects those that will get the NTSC-Version (US/Canada).

In exchange for this delay, the US/Canada will be getting gifts-with-purchase as well as a competition being held in June which will make use of the demo that is being released in may/june.
