MTV makes sure there isn't a GameInformer Cover Curse
"Over the years, gamers have seen dozens of high-profile titles make their world debut by being featured on the cover of Game Informer. In fact, if you’re a regular shopper at GameStop, you’re probably one of the magazine’s more than two million readers.
But does a game getting on Game Informer’s cover signal it’s going to be great?
Can you be confident that these debuts will, one or two years later, become games you want to buy and play? Perhaps the magazine has a “Madden” curse (though..."

A spokesperson for the publisher told Eurogamer it was a total fabrication, and that Treyarch and Infinity Ward would still alternately create instalments in the shooter series.
Rumours spiralled from an ex-Activision Underground employee who claimed that Infinity Ward had prompted a contract renegotiation in an effort to become the sole developer of Call of Duty games.

Top 10 FPS Single Player Games
"FPS - First person shooter. Three words, one genre and a whole host of games; it's almost the de facto style for a PC game today. That's you holding that gun, casting the spell and swinging the sword; you get to choose exactly where you look, touch and move to. It's the closest you can get to that virtual world.
Shooting games have been around since... well, if electricity was around when Noah was rebuilding after the floods, I'd bet money that he'd be playing a shooting game of some kind..."
