This just confuses people more who have both consoles. xD
Bottom line: If you have a 360, you'll get the 360 version; why not? If you only have PS3, you'll get the PS3 version. And if you so have both consoles, either you'll get the version that most of your friends have, or the one with DLC.
However, if you have both a PS3 and a 360, why NOT buy the 360 version? That's where this matters. They're both the same exact game, but the 360's will be larger.
I like the comments in that article though. "Hey, you should use more evidence in slightly supporting the 360 version you fanboy! PS3 RULEZ! RROD WOOO!" It's the exact opposite of the stereotype in there - the PS3 fanboys have horrible grammar and are just screaming shit while the 360 fanboys were using bullet point lists to support themselves, haha.

No matter WHAT comes out of the DLC, it's more than the PS3 will have. Period. That matters. How could it not?
No one is taking this to an extreme level like you seem to think. People are excited that there will be significant additional content to the 360's GTA IV. You act as if they're insane to think it'll be significant, just because nothing has been announced. In reality, YOU'RE the one being insane thinking it'll be a pair of sunglasses and a new shirt for $30.

Well looks like you better shit out those doves cause NIkki did in fact owned a 360 if not has one now. Your the annoying person here. MS has money they gave for this and i have yet to see anything to really say wow its going to be awesome. The only word we have from them is its going to be huge. Yet i remember they said the console didn't have problems and it was the owners fault for the RROD for months and months until they admitted it was their fault. So why should anyone believe them when they lied to us before?
Also who really cares of the DLC? I mean so far its only the 360 fanboys gloating over it, big deal. I rather take 15 million console sales then a hyped up no information DLC.

GTA4 will end up selling more software for 360 no doubt, but there will be more console sales for PS3 just for the sheer fact of 10 million+ Fans waiting to buy a PS3 for this game and MGS4.
Now before you ask where are you getting this number from, Apparently everyone forgets that SA sold 10 million+ copies for PS2, that alone should tell you how many are waiting for this.
But i think people need to wait before jumping on the bandwaggon of "oh DLC will dominate all", when we know next to nothing about it.
Thats like saying "The Agency or Heavy Rain will own and kill the 360" When we know next to nothing about those games other than it being exclusive, and supposedly very good graphics.

And if you have both a PS3 and a 360, you'd be an idiot not to get the 360 version. Even if the base game is the same, you've got DLC. Maybe not huge DLC, but DLC nonetheless.
Furthermore, it's not like the PS3 version is somehow terrible inferior. The online service will be the exact same, Sony's already working on creating their own form of Achievements, and just because there is DLC on one side and not the other, it doesn't mean PS3 owners won't enjoy it as much as 360 owners.

LordMaChao, Existenz did own a 360 if I remember, and it got RRoD, so she switched to the PS3, and has been 'hating' on 360 ever since.
It's not only $50 million, though, that was an advancement, meaning that M$ will put down more cash for the DLC. Hell, it's business, and as Red 9 mentioned, anyone with both consoles (like myself) would be stupid not to get it for the 360, as that's with the bonus exclusive content lies. That's fact. They are the same, both versions, but the 360 get's a little extra, which makes it much easier for me to decide which console to get GTA IV for...that and the XBL friends.
$50 million, more to pay off, and you're believing that it won't be worth it, Existenz? I'd laugh the day Sony does something like this and see your reaction. It's obvious that you'd support them if it were the other way around.

The fact is, the DLC, holy grail or not, is more than the PS3 will have. Why on earth would you pass up on that if you own both a PS3 and a 360? Look Final, no one is saying that the PS3's will suck or anything, we're all vouching one of four things: 1) Getting the PS3 version because we don't have a 360, 2) Getting the 360 version because we don't have a PS3, 3) Getting the PS3 version, though we have both consoles, because we prefer it overall (controls perhaps?), or 4) Getting the 360 version because we prefer it overall (DLC and such).
What's the big problem of us saying that we're getting it on the 360 because of DLC? It's the same game, but getting larger on the 360 soon with it's DLC...it's only logical to get it for that, get the most out of GTA, that's what really matters, not a petty argument, a backyard console war.
I can't get it past me...as to why you and Existenz just had to bring it up...it's our opinion, are you afraid that the 360 version will sell more or something? Do you believe that we're doing this for the wrong reasons, because of DLC content? Are you praying every night for the DLC content to suck?

I copied it from my reply to iLL. Listen i hope it is big as you say, i really do, but the fact is we know nothing about it, and they haven't said one word on what it is. So until that day comes i don't think it will be big. Like i said countless times, DLC isn't big for me and i don't care about it, but so far the info we have is just hyped up.
