Pokemon Cupcakes Feature At Birthday Party!

Mums always do a really good job making a great birthday party when you're a little kid. They always come up with fun themes, games and generally make it a whole lot of fun.

This mum decided that if her child loved Pokemon, he'd be getting Pokemon! She made some pretty cool looking Pokemon cupcakes. Faces include Snorlax, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Piplup, Munchlax and Turtwig.

The cupcakes are chocolate and they are filled with cream just like a Hostess cupcake. The Pokemon faces were made out of Marshmallow Fondant. Marshmallow Fondant is made out of marshmallows so it tastes a lot better that regular fondant. Its pretty fun to make too. I made templates for the various parts of the faces, and cut around them with an Exacto knife

The Pikachu cupcakes are pretty ugly, but I've never liked Pikachu anyway. Regardless, that's pretty frickin' sweet. I'm really impressed with the Turtwig, personally.

Oh, and I love cupcakes. <3 Great find. Makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I really liked the Piplup myself, but then I really like Piplup in general.

I reckon there's something odd going on with the middle Snorlax, looks like he's trying to be the Joker or something. One of the Jigglypuffs looks emo. xD
