A Whole Slew On Starcraft 2 :UI Modding, B.net 2.0, and Competitions

The ability to modify the User Interface in World of Warcraft is an ability many WOW players can't live without. Yet when asked about this important feature, Blizzard stated they will "try to get to it in the expansion" for Starcraft 2. Included below in the attached photos is just an example of how radical the user interface can be changed in WOW, which includes many changes that are quite efficient.

Read the attached article to get the full scoop on User Interface Modding, Battle.net 2.0, and Competitions, and why each component is directly attached to the success of Starcraft 2.
...user interface modifications are vitally important to the Starcraft 2 community. Ease of communication, improved organization, and an analyzation of in-game mechanics will foster a dynamic competitive environment. Likewise, a more flexible Battle.net will create a powerful network of gamers battling to improve their skills and show their mettle. This skill development will be carried to third party leagues and large fansites, allowing Starcraft 2 to be the center of the gaming universe for years to come. It is imperative that Blizzard includes UI modding, improves Battle.net in fundamental ways, and allows third party competitions. If not, Starcraft 2 cannot realize its full potential.

"Karune saying that "editor support for UI modding is something we would still like to implement down the line...no guarantees, but we’ll do our best to get it in for an expansion""

Ok, maybe I'm reading it wrong but did that just pretty much say they are already considering a possible expansion to Starcraft 2? If that's so, then that's great! Except, they already turned Starcraft 2 into a trilogy. Does this mean that they'll add another trilogy of expansions? If so, then for the true Starcraft fans, they'll be shelling out like $600 (Aus) for the entirety of Starcraft 2. If they don't and it's just a one disk expansion, then that's still $400. Milking much?

      You are misunderstanding the trilogy,

It's one original game (which will be the Terran side) and two expansions (Zerg and Protoss). It's basically like Starcraft Original and Brood War, but with 1 additional expansion.

Really? From what I had read it was like they were individual games, not expansions. Thanks for clearing that up then.

In the past Blizzard's protectionist attitude about their games has ruined third party tournament and league possibilities.
What? We SC players have no trouble playing in third party leagues like iCCup and SC has the biggest tournaments of any game in the world. What is this guy talking about?

I wish Blizzard would just publish SC already and get on to Diablo 3
