50 Cent: Blood on the Sand?

    Are you *bleeping* kidding me?

Well.....it's probably not a good game, but maybe it's a patriotic game....

Anyway, I'm really suprised to not see Super Mario 64 or World of Warcraft on the list.

Seriously, though, Halo? I don't see how the *bleep* Halo is patriotic? All you do is fight Aliens and keep them out, but then again, I suppose that's what being an american is all about, if you get my meaning

If 50 Cent is the epitome of an American citizen, I'm moving to Canada.

Lol, I'm pretty sure he is. He's Obama's running-mate at the moment, so get ready for 50 Cent as Vice President.....

Lol, America would be in ruins within hours of that happening.

Very . . . oppinionated and biased. I could only get so far on the list before exiting out due to frustration and irritation

Too bad the list didn't hark on only quality games. Kiss Psycho Circus was more patriotic than Bullet proof.

Just seeing 50 cent on the list ruined my taste for it immediately.

    Christian Founders? What a *bleep*ing fascist-looking game.

It's like, "you should believe, what the people who founded your country believed!"

That's bullshit, and stuff like that is the whole reason I'm not a fan of religion.

Drago, I didn't look into the game (did you?) but I doubt they were pushing Christianity on the players. What would you prefer, history that talked of all/most of the founding fathers' characteristics EXCEPT their faith which had an impact on the rest of their lives? That, my friend, would be Humanism--another religion--and avoiding aspects of history that shouldn't be neglected. I hate how some books do just that, and end up honestly re-writing history because it only takes a few generations to forget, and change it.

You may not like religion, but it doesn't mean religion should be wiped from the face of all things, so you (or anyone else) don't have to hear about it's presence in others' lives.

Nearly all religions are fascist, so, if that's what you like, so be it.

I hate hearing about how parents send their kids to christian schools. I know, they're probably good, well mannered schools, but I really don't like the idea of information being shoved down the throats of children.

I also understand that parents should be able to raise their kids how they please, but at the same time, I just see something like that to be borderlining brainwashing people.

It's like if, all your life, you were told that there are 30 letters in the alphabet, as if it were a fact, and then you grow up to learn that it's all speculation and "faith".

BTW, I don't dislike religion, I just don't really follow one. I actually think religion is a good thing for most people because I've heard countless stories of people be "saved" in some way by it. Whether it's a drug problem, alcohol, etc. it's helped many people, and it is a good thing.

It's just I see most religions as pretty fascist and hypocritical, especially christianity. If you don't believe what they believe, they "feel sorry for you" and "pray for you" because they think you'll go to hell. they do all that behind your back while to your face they're all smiles and "it's okay your not a christian". This, atleast, has been my experience.

        It's ridiculous.

I have to act like I'm a christian just so my family won't disown me. If I told them what I truly think, they probably wouldn't even want to look at me any more. It's like a cult.

I do believe I understand what you mean. I agree with some of what you are saying, but remember that honestly, everyone in this world is being force fed information as children and growing up. The only way NOT to have that happen, is to be told EVERYthing. I mean EVERYTHING, all beliefs all oppinions all actions, so that the person can then decide for themselves. If you exclude it altogether though, then that is a belief system in itself and you're being force-fed THAT one. . . . Get what I'm saying?

I'm sorry about the family situation, I wish that weren't the case. I think in those cases though . . . it's not so much as the faith but the people. Kinda like we can't judge the validity of math, based off the way a mathematician teaches it.

          Yikes, sorry, I think we've gone off-topic a bit...

For some reason, I can't hit reply directly to your comment, HisServant. Wait, i mae it work somehow

But anyways, I completely see what you mean, now. The analogy you gave about Math/Religion really helped me see things from your perspective.

        I can explain Halo.

Nothing is more American than shooting aliens. Aliens = illegal immigrants. It's subtle anti-immigration propaganda.

Any of the Tycoon series games represent a form of the American dream - to successfully run a business/franchise and make money.

Really ? Practice capitalism ? Whenever I played the Tycoon games like Roolercoaster or Zoo, I ended up unleashing hell by derailing a rollercoaster with a full load of passengers or unleashing a bunch of polar bears and crocodiles onto an unsuspecting populace.

God, I want to play Zoo Tycoon again.
