A Look Back: The Consoles from the 1970s

The article looks at grandfathers of gaming as they call it. The consoles of the 70s'. Some of the consoles from this time period include the Magnavox Odyssey (which was the first console ever), Magnavox Odyssey 200, Coleco Telstar Classic, Coleco Telstar Arcade,
Coleco Telstar Gemini and many more in the list. All of the consoles on the list have their own little description.
We’re kicking off four days of cartridge-based nostalgia with our guide to the consoles of the '70s. Before you roll your eyes - hey, we saw that - keep in mind these were the first consoles ever created. And without our decrepit forefathers, we wouldn’t be enjoying digital ambrosia with the likes of Mario or the Master Chief on our fancy HDTV. If you wanna know how your parents kept it real, behold - the consoles of yore.

    I have two of those consoles... Both handed down from my parents...

    Gotta love the ten thousand pong variants though.

    Holy Shi-, they had consoles in the 70's! Those consoles make you look back and say What the-? Then look to now and laugh at old consoles!
