The Japanese aren't interested in Metal Gear Solid 4?

On a recent Yahoo! Japan poll, the question "are you interested in the game (MGS4)? was asked to the Japanese gaming public.
The poll is only small at the moment... A mere 665 people have currently voted, but over 60% of them either had no interest in the game or had no intentions of buying it at all.
The poll is still open and more people have voted since Kotaku reported, but the results have stayed relatively the same.

Plan on purchasing it and a PS3: 14 percent (88 votes)

This reminds me of the article Krunal made that a Poll suggested PS3 was gamers favorite only to be changed in a day to 360 being on top, and still growing. This doesn't mean anything and shouldn't to the fans.}

  I just thought it was interesting, considering you'd think that the majority of Japanese gamers (even the majority of 665) would be hanging out to play the game.

    _{Yeah, but 665 is a low amount. Im not saying its not interesting just its not really anything to go by when its can be changed in mere hours and minutes. But meh...probably could have stated it differently.}

  You should really take notice of how small the pools are for most poll's compared to the demographic they're addressing. After such a thing you'd probably find this to be more or less on par with current practices.
  
  Anyway, this isn't news really, it seems that since around MGS2 they've generally pushed for an international release before the Japanese release of the game as it often sold better outside of Japan.

It seems strange the Japanese were interested in the game in the first place, the game is based in the US culture for the most part. Maybe its Kojima's name tag attached to it?

Anyway we'll see after the actual game is released
